What a great day to be an American Patriot, eh?

We are all faced with some of the most dire conditions and direction this republic has ever seen, beginning with the fact that Constitution Day, the commemoration of the signing of this nation’s most important document, is not met with parades and TV coverage but rather apathy and disdain.

You can have a hand in changing that in many ways, some of which I submit to you on this historic date.

Speak It

This is a perfect opportunity to raise the ideas of constitutional government with people you don’t normally talk politics with.  Remember that this is not a political issue so much as an ethical one.  One way I like to describe my efforts at TAC is that ‘I’m working to hold the Federal Government to the constitution.  If we are expected to follow the rules, so should they.’  Let them know that this is a non-partisan movement rallying behind the Constitution and unless you are talking to a DC bureaucrat I think you may get at least a little positive interest.

Call It

Calling in to radio shows is a great way to get the word out and apply pressure to the corporate media who has been decidedly un-patriotic in their attacks on the 10th movement and the 10th amendment.  Producers will get the message after a deluge of interest in state sovereignty, even if they are not courageous enough to put you on the air.  If nothing else, make sure to mention that this is NOT about secession- It’s about the vision of the founding fathers.

Live It

Joining the 10th movement involves a radical shift.  I encourage you to take some time on this day in particular to reflect on what kind of partisan conditioning you may have been left with after your tour of duty in the 2 party scheme.  For myself, it took an adjustment to stop thinking in terms of left and right, but in the end I find it much more agreeable to see the battlefield in terms of centralizers vs those in favor of limited, constitutional governance.Happy C
