Another fantastic post, Josh. I hope that it's becoming clearer to more people these days that our contest isn't really left vs right - it's us vs them.

Statist:"It doesn’t matter. The Constitution is over 200 years old. Nobody really expects us to follow that stuff anymore. The Civil War showed the states who’s boss, and you’re a dangerous bigot."

That is so common!
I always respond to this last “Might makes Right” argument with the assertion that if that was true then we should have the right to uses our now superior “might” upon them, noting how kind the “liberals” who constitute most of the Statists have been to disarm themselves over the last several decades.

I would be basically saying I don’t agree with their “might makes right” argument but if they insist upon imposing it as their only justification for holding on to and imposing this power upon us, then we can beat them soundly there too, and they should know it.

lol its funny how their face turns white when they realism the horrible mistake they just made. The moral of the story is the same as always if you don’t want to respect the law then you will be made to respect the gun and they can impose this upon us either way.

The battlefield has changed dramatically from 1861, the mere break down of the interstate trade networks alone would starve the urban “liberals” to death if they decided to wage a “Civil war” in imposing their “might” upon the rural conservative America.

You know the same America that happens to be sitting on the Food supply, in addition to making up the majority of the gun owners, law enforcement, and military. This is on top of their other disadvantage due to modern WMD technology, making dense urban populations a liability. Remind me who has most of them?

The moral of the story is they are best advices to accept that Law, NOT Might, makes right, such was the whole point of law enforcement in the first place. To provide superior Might in the interest of Law.
