What Now?

Now that national health care is moving forward in Washington, plenty of people are asking – what do we do now?

Some people feel we need to “vote the bums out.” Others think it’s best to focus on the Senate with a flood of calls and protests. And others think our best hope is in the Supreme Court – litigating for freedom.

I see all these as failed strategies.

If you’d like another perspective, I strongly recommend that you tune in to the Mike Church Show tomorrow – he’ll be talking about this with Kevin Gutzman, who is one of the nation’s premiere experts on the 10th Amendment.

The show airs on Sirius/XM radio, and the interview is scheduled to start at 10:05AM Eastern.

Nick...we've absolutely looked into something for this. Hope to have something online in the future...not yet, though.

Michael, have you considered setting up an activist e-mail project where people can write their state legislature urging it to pass bills of nullification? For example, like taking what you have at http://pledge.tenthamendmentcenter.com/petition/ except focused entirely on the state legislatures and specifically on educating them about and urging them to practice nullification (e.g., like Ray McBerry's proposed bills in Georgia).

I think that if you teamed up with Campaign for Liberty, Downsize D.C., the John Birch Society, etc. and put something like that together, it could really reach a lot of legislators, and that's exactly what we need (especially at this critical time).
