There’s some noise in the mainstream press of late about a number of states looking to sue on 10th Amendment grounds because of the vote buying of Sir Nelson of Nebraska. Like this video from Fox yesterday:
While I’m supportive of any effort to fight back against unconstitutional actions in DC (and I strongly believe this instance fits that) – if these people think that was the only problem with the health care bill is the vote buying, we’re in serious trouble.
I believe there’s a better, more effective option than trying to get one branch of the federal government to limit the power of the federal government – nullification.
