September 17 is Constitution Day–the day the Constitution was signed in Philadelphia and sent to the states for ratification.
This day SHOULD be a national holiday, but as we have seen in all to many cases, the slow eroding of accurate, proper, and true American history continues and eats away at the links to our Founding that are so critical to the future of our Republic. This is clearly being done on purpose by the left and the educational bureaucracy that wishes to rewrite and erase the TRUE story of our Founding and the great men and stories behind it.
But you can do your part in reconnecting with the tand maybe bring a few people along with you!
On September 17, go to www.mikechurch.com. Mike is the host of the Mike Church Show on Sirius/XM satellite radio. He is a tremendous resource on all things Constitution and Founding and has produced 3 docu-dramas telling the story of our Founding from the time leading up to the Revolutionary War through the signing of the Constitution. He, along with a cast of other original intent and Constitutional experts, will host a FREE audio screening of the “Spirit of ’76″- his 3rd docu-drama on the writing and ratifying of the Constitution. the screening will then be followed by a round table discussion and Q&A session on line that you can participate in. This is 100% free and you do not have to be a Sirius/XM subscriber to participate.
I HIGHLY recommend you find the time to participate! You will learn a TON that you never knew and hopefully will inspire you to learn more and share it with others! And if you wish, you can of course buy the audio and/or video CD/DVD set of the Spirit or his other 2 docu-dramas-The Road to Independence and the Fame of Our Fathers.
Please let me know if you plan to attend and/or if you have any questions!
