A reader tells me the major Connecticut papers are having a field day with GOP state attorney general candidate Martha Dean because of her support of nullification. Poor Thomas Jefferson: he’s become radioactive in his own country. I’m afraid my schedule is impossible right now or I’d be writing more in her defense. (I did write this brief piece the other day.) I am sure that whatever is being said about her is idiotic and reveals zero knowledge of history. Anyone who would like to defend her, write letters to the editor, etc., is welcome to draw ideas and information from the nullification section on my Articles page.
