Dear lord, thank you for the wonderful blessing you have provided for me and my family...

Dear President, thank you for the wonderful economy you have provided for our nation. I eternally in debted to you for the economy, local roads, post office, and all of the other things your position of power made possible. I am not worthy to be in your presence as you are the savior of our nation of which we would not be able to survive without you. Please keep funding NASA because without you NASA would get defunded.

I find that people generally don't care if they get funding. Its more of a method of demagoguery where the poltician say "I the great lord of the universe will ensure you eat ever night". It seems to work for politicians simply because it is our nature. They make sure we have jobs, funding, and food on the table. I always thought that we were suppose to pray to God for those things since we say "thank you lord for the fine blessings..." before we eat.

Mr. Matthews,

If Reps. Culberson, Bishop, et al will not cut federal spending and taxes to levels that will allow states, cities, businesses, etc. to fund the research they desire to conduct, then I would humbly suggest that you begin lobbying for the passage of a Federal Tax Escrow Account law by Texas's state legislature, which would allow Texas to keep the tax revenue that would have been used for unconstitutional federal programs in-state for use where your state's legislators see fit.
 <a href="http://www.tenthamendmentcenter.com/2010/01/18/resistdc-the-federal-tax-funds-act/" rel="nofollow">http://www.tenthamendmentcenter.com/2010/01/18/re...</a>

There's no need for you or Rep. Culberson to compromise your constitutional principles for the sake of research funding.

Best regards,
Walt
