Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky conceded that a full repeal of the health care law won’t be possible in the short term but pledged that Republicans would use their new oversight powers in the House to keep pressure on the Obama administration and Democrats.
“We may not be able to bring about straight repeal in the next two years, and we may not win every vote against targeted provisions, even though we should have bipartisan support for some,” McConnell said during a Thursday speech at the Heritage Foundation. “But we can compel administration officials to attempt to defend this indefensible health spending bill and other costly, government-driven measures, like the stimulus and financial reform.”

We the People are in no mood for more politics as usual. Not even a week has passed since the mid-term elections and we are hearing more of the same, now coming from an Elephant instead of a Donkey!! So what has changed??
Why is it so difficult for these career political hacks to understand!! The healthcare legislation that got rammed down the throats of We the People is unconstitutional!! Healthcare is not listed as one of the delegated powers granted to congress in Article I, Section 8 of the Constitution!! There is no basis to accept unconstitutional legislations!! None! Jefferson’s view was that if a legislation was unconstitutional, it was in fact no law at all!! What is the problem?? Jefferson, would no doubt encourage state legislatures to introduce a resolution making this unconstitutional healthcare legislation null and void in the state and be done with it!!
Inspite of this, we still have career political hacks trying to band-aid something unconstitutional! We have multiple states wanting to settle this unconstitutional legislation in the court system! Wonderful! The litigation process will take months, if not years to resolve. It will provide jobs for an unlimited amount of legal counsels on both sides of the issue…Who will pay for that?? Ah yes, and then it will likely arrive at the Supreme Court, which is itself a branch of the Federal Government and historically has not ruled in favor of the states on issues between the feds and the states. Kind of like I get into an argument with you and I get my brother-in-law to decide who is correct!! In the end, we will have spent volumes of time and money and still have an unconstitutional legislation that should never have been allowed to happen in the first place. Lord help us!!
Perhaps we need to dump a bit more TEA into the harbor folks!!
Pass this on to others you know who are fedup with politics as usual!
