Speaking on a broad range of issues before an audience of young Australians, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton fielded a question on marriage equality by saying that while she has not supported marriage equality in the past, she does support civil unions and American states “taking actions that they believe reflects the evolution of attitudes about this.” Disappointing.
