John Dvorak writes:

“Thanks for the show plug Thomas.

“Once we brought the subject up it got a lot of attention and debate. It’s interesting to hear from the befuddled public when confronted by the Nullification history and the 10th Amendment movement. Many begin confrontation with the bogus ‘Federal Law trumps…blah, blah, blah.’ The best way I have found to counter this is always to ask the question, ‘Then why would you ever amend the Constitution? Just pass a new Federal law and be done with it. Fast and easy. So tell me why you would amend the Constitution??’

“You can then go into the Volstead Act and why it required a Constitutional amendment and anti-drug laws do not. How does that work? It’s like watching people have a short-circuit.

“Thanks for doing a book we can send people to read!

John”
