After two very memorable years, we should all give thanks to the very unlikely hero. President Obama set out to change America in a fundamental way and he succeeded in very spectacular fashion. The magnitude of the changes are just now beginning to be felt, but I think the ruling elite in America have finally bitten off more than they can chew. It was famously said by Bastiat that all actions cause two changes; that which is seen (and expected), and that which is unseen but must be anticipated as well. It may have been well known to the ruling elite in this country that nationalizing banks, insurance, mortgages, auto manufacturers, etc… would produce vast dependence on government, and thus hundreds of cushy administrative positions for their statist leach buddies. What was unseen (and apparently unforeseen by the administration) was that layering such an abusive set of bureaucrats so soon after the obvious double-crossing of the Bush Administration would be too much for the individualist freedom-loving core of this country to overlook.

To really begin this article I should go back to the turn of the 20th Century, but in the interest of time, I will instead begin in the 80′s. By 1980 the population of America had been asleep for the better part of a century, the Federal Reserve had removed the need for a gold standard (so we thought) and we were blissfully unaware of the level of illegality exercised by our own government. The Cold War kept everyone in line- and kept us from challenging any of the obvious contradictions within our own country. During that time, if you questioned the rightness of America you where labeled as a “Communist.”
