Who needs the legislature? Have the local Sheriff stand there and start to arrest TSA agents and throw them in jail. Make this an issue. All we need is one brave Sheriff willing to exercise their right as the top law enforcement officer in the county.

Now we know why Rick Perry stalled for so long… He knew if he waited then the Texas Senate & House could fritter away enough time to pull off this stall, making it “seem” as though they “tried.”

I have a very accurate and descriptive name I’m tempted to call them, but it would be an insult to the hard-working streetwalkers that actually earn their keep.

Actually, I would be better taking the lesson from George Carlin. Don't blame the politicians. It is the American public that is selfish and ignorant. That's why selfish, ignorant politicians are replaced at the polls by other selfish, ignorant politicians. There simply aren't any good people in America who can look past the comforts of their cell phones, remote controls and all the other plastic crap and articles of "luxury" that are so much more important than useless things such as liberty and representative government. We have only ourselves to blame.

I think my case is made by the fact that our cause at TAC can barely break $10,000 in a donations drive.

It just goes to show the heart of a politician. There really are not that many good ones. How do you vote "yes," knowing that it will not pass if you leave, and then…. you leave?

Politics is such a fruitless pursuit, except for the politicians.

It really seems there are two options: (1) rebellion, or (2) retreat to apathy and avoidance of all things political as much as you can. The political process is a joke because Americans, in general, are a very stupid people. But then, so are most people of the world. People have very little independent spirit.

Why do we put these people in office if they are not going to listen to our pleas for help in stopping the madness. They know its wrong but won't do, or are to scared of doing any thing to stop it. If one state takes a stand I think many of the others will follow so which state or politician is going to be the first leader and champion to this dilemma.

Some Texas state official actually DID get groped. Can't remember who, but I saw a couple of stories in the Texas press about it a couple of weeks back.

Perhaps, unlike Wisconsin legislators, Texas doesn't let their legislators travel at all. They don't get groped like regular mortals.

Somebody PLEASE get the Legislature to enjoy a field trip to the Airport and enjoy the tender gropings of the TSA. Perhaps then they would reconsider getting their heads out of the sand.
