The President of the United States is the chief administrator of the Executive Branch of government. The President is like a CEO of a corporation and all Federal employees are subject to his jurisdiction. He has absolutely no authority over anyone else.

The power that the President that is exercising today is not based upon his authority granted to him by the Constitution it comes from the willingness of Congress to allow him to usurp power that was delegated to Congress.

The President gets too much of the credit and too much of the blame. Our National Debt is not of Presidential misconduct, it is the result of a Congress that refuses to honor their oath to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution. In ArticleI Section, the Constitution lists the powers that have been delegated to Congress. Any power that is not delegated to Congress is prohibited.

Agencies such as the Environmental Protection Agency, the Department of Education, the Department of Homeland Security, the FBI, the CIA and hundreds of other agencies and departments are not authorized in the Constitution. Every time Congress votes to fund these unconstitutional programs, they are violating the oath to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution.

The Presidents power can be held in check by the representatives of the people only if we hold the members of Congress accountable. We need to vote out every member of Congress that enables the President to assume power that has not been granted to him by the Constitution. Those that support the usurpation of power that rightfully belongs to the states and the people need to serve their next term in a penitentiary.

The 10th Amendment

“The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”
