The Tenth Amendment Center is almost entirely volunteer funded and volunteer staff – and run. As our message expands more and more into the mainstream, we are always in need of more help to take on new projects, new tasks, and new outreach. Here are three major needs for the TAC and our efforts right now. Can you help us out? Please read below, and follow the instructions to contact us if you have questions.

If you have specific questions, contact us here. Otherwise, don’t wait for marching orders. Just take a look through the following, pick one (or all) of these projects, and take action now. We’re extremely grateful for your support!

THANK YOU!

1. COMPILE SPREADSHEETS OF CONTACT INFORMATION FOR STATE LEGISLATORS AROUND THE COUNTRY
In order to up our efforts to get 10th Amendment and Nullification bills introduced in state houses around the country, we need direct contact information for state legislators everywhere possible. We’ve been putting together lists, but need help in a number of states. What we need? A spreadsheet – in google docs shared with info@tenthamendmentcenter.com or in MS Excel emailed to the same – with first name, last name and email address as columns. Optional, but helpful, are party affiliation and phone number columns.

2. SPREAD THE WORD OF OUR LIVE GOP DEBATE COVERAGE ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT
Tenther Radio this Wednesday, 11-09-11, is a special post-debate coverage edition. We’ll be running a LIVE CHAT during the debate here – http://radio.tenthamendmentcenter.com/chat/ – and throughout our post-debate coverage which starts 5 minutes after the debate closes (approximately 6:30PM, Pacific Time). We want you to post your comments, ask questions, leave feedback during the debate and during our online radio show. We’ll interact with you live during our Tenther Radio event that night, and answer your questions on air.

Can you please invite your friends and family to join us for this special event?

3. LEADERSHIP ROLES NEED TO BE FILLED ON STATE AND LOCAL LEVELS
Thomas Jefferson once wrote – “The several states composing the United States of America are not united on the principle of unlimited submission to their general government…” He and many leading founders advised us to look to state governments whenever 2 or more branches of the federal government were conspiring against the Constitution and your liberty. We feel that time is now.

The Tenth Amendment Center is currently expanding our local coordinator program, and are actively looking for people like you to take on a volunteer leadership role in states, counties and cities. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who feels passion for freedom and wants to do something – other than the standard phone calls to congress and marches on D.C. – to make a difference. You don’t have to be a professional, or an expert in any way – we’ll certainly provide you the tools to learn and grow. So if you’re interested in getting more involved, please review our local coordinator information page here: http://www.tenthamendmentcenter.com/local-coordinators/

4. BLOGGERS NEEDED
We can never share enough content, information, ideas, and perspectives – from a constitutional view. If you’ve got something to say and you think you just might be pretty good at writing (whether you’ve published previously or not), send a few paragraphs or even a full article over to info@tenthamendmentcenter.com today. Make sure to include your full name, your contact information, and a short statement about what the 10th Amendment means to you (1-3 sentences max).

5. CONTACT YOUR OWN STATE LEGISLATORS AND URGE THEM TO INTRODUCE LEGISLATION…
…on any number of issues that might be important to you this coming session. Ask them NOW, as many states require bills to be pre-filed quite early. And the sooner they get contacted, the more likely it will be that they introduce some strong bills. Use this link to find some legislation to send to your state legislators. We recommend sending them links to 2-3 top bills that you personally want to see introduced, and not the full list. http://www.tenthamendmentcenter.com/the-10th-amendment-movement/
