Either the people control the government or the government controls the people. Either we have rights granted to us by our Creator or we have privileges granted to us by our government. In a dicatorship the leaders seek to control the people, while in a Republic, it is the responsibility of the people to control the government.

As the creators of the government, we the people can only grant powers to our government, that we already possess. We do not have the authority to take another man’s life, liberty or property, so we can delegate this power to our government. When a government possesses the power to do things that individuals are prevented from doing, that government is operating outside of its lawful authority.
When a person takes property that belongs to his neighbor and then gives it to someone else, he has commited a crime. When the government uses the color of law to take the property on one individual to give to another they too, have commied a crime.

When we were granted the unalienable rights from our Creator we were also given the responsibility to honor the life, liberty and property of our fellow men. A crime occurs when one person or group initiates force to take the life, liberty or property of another.

It is the responsibility of a referee in a football game to make sure that the players abide by the rules of the game. Our government should be there to makes sure that no individual or group will violate our life, liberty or property.

The idea that initiating force against someone that you think might seek to injury you is not a defensive act. It is clearly an act of agression and is not permitted in the Constitution.
