I hope so! What is a governor's first responsibility? To preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States and of their particular state. The States assigned certain government functions to the feds when the Constitution was enacted. The States are superior in sovereignty to the feds (the creator is always superior to the creation) and the States are best equipped to fight the feds when they go overboard. As Morgan pointed out (I was at the announcement), the feds frequently back down when challenged. The more we challenge, the more they will back down and the more likely it will be that unconstitutional laws and regulations will decrease.

I support Morgan and I hope you will support a pro-states' rights candidate in your state.PS: Fanningbaldwin.com is WRONG. The Republican right (meaning the true conservative) doesn't want more government, we are the ones fighting it. The RINOs and GOP moderates want more government. That's why Sen. Bob Bennett went down to defeat last year, that's why Sen. Orrin Hatch will be defeated next year. They are moderates and Utah knows it.
