As we all set our intentions for 2012, I want to leave you with a thought.

One of my many tasks at the Tenth Amendment Center is to spend some time getting to know our prospects- those who have volunteered to take on an organizational role with the Tenth Amendment Center.  Today, the recruit I was talking to said something that stuck with me:

“Well, it seemed clear that it’s time for me to go from reading about what’s happening, to doing something about it.”

As I see it, there are basically three categories of Americans:

The first, are those who go through life, believing everything that the establishment tells them.  This category is shrinking fast.

Second, are those who see what’s going on and understand that the establishment is NOT there to look out for our best interest.  For me, my entry into this category came while watching the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.  Being in this category is an improvement over simply burying one’s head in the sand- as those in the first category have.  Nonetheless, those in this second group are still not part of the solution and thus remain a part of the problem.

The third category is the one that TAC’s newest recruit has just joined.  This is the group that has kept my impulses to become an ex-pat at bay.  This is the group of Americans that can save our republic- those that have gone beyond reading and moved into ACTION/ACTIVISM.  This is the group that I am convinced has been classified as a threat to DC and is one of the true motivations for the NDAA and SOPA.

If you have been in the second category for a while now, reading, listening to podcasts, watching YouTube clips…then you know that the harbingers of tyranny are all around us.  You probably have a tugging sense of restlessness.  There is only one way to scratch that itch- and that is to DO SOMETHING FOR LIBERTY.  What more do you need to see before you’ll get out from behind that task chair?  What violations of the Constitution are there left for you to see that the time has come?  Category 3 awaits…JOIN US!
