Monday will mark our sixth anniversary here at the Tenth Amendment Center!

Looking back, “we’ve come a long way baby!”

Throughout the weekend, I will be reminiscing about  some of the milestones and big moments through the last six years here at the TAC.

Over the past year, the Tenth Amendment Center garnered plenty of media attention. The TAC  had mentions in major papers such at the Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post and the Washington Times, along with numerous state and local papers and news websites. Esquire Magazine gave us a little ink during the last year.  And we’ve also heard our name mentioned on the radio, both nationally and locally. Some of the big think tanks are paying attention too. The Heritage Foundation regularly addresses our arguments, and the Southern Poverty Law Center has us on their “bad guys” list.

But it wasn’t always that way. It’s taken a lot of hard work and perseverance to position the Tenth Amendment Center as a go-to organization on constitutional issues, state sovereignty and nullification  in the media.

So, when was the first ever mainstream media mention of the Tenth Amendment Center?

It came on March 27, 2009, in a Christian Science Monitor when Micheal Boldin was quoted in an article titled States rebel against Washington.
