The Massachusetts legislation S.1664 that would regulate the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) to protect the privacy rights of citizens has been referred to Joint Committee on Transportation. Read more about it HERE and HERE.

BILL STATUS AND SCHEDULE – The Joint Committee has scheduled the bill for a March 5th 11am.

PLEASE TAKE THE FOLLOWING ACTIONS – It doesn’t matter where you live in the state, please follow all these steps to support S.1664.

1. Please CALL the Senate and House chairs and vice-chairs of the committee. Strongly, but politely let them know that you want them to PASS S.1664. A phone call has 10x the impact of an email; yours can make the difference.

4. SHARE this information widely. By facebook, twitter, email, and more.

5. Write a letter to the editor. Look up your local newspaper and submit a letter to the editor voicing your support for S.1664. It is essential for your legislators to enact measures to protect the privacy rights of MA residents. Passing S.1664 will help make that happen.
