HJR62 was introduced by Rep. Kurt Bahr (R-102) as an amendment to the Missouri state constitution to help protect the state’s health freedom from Obamacare. (read it here) If passed, this amendment would ultimately be decided by Missouri voters. It was referred to the Health Care Policy Committee.

STATUS: HJR62 was PASSED through the Health Care Policy Committee on Mar. 6. It will now go to the house for a full vote.

YOUR HELP IS NEEDED! It doesn’t matter where in Missouri you live, ACT NOW!

1. Call your State Representative. Be strong, but respectful. Urge your State Rep. to support HJR62. If they do not commit to a YES vote, ask them why. If they’re undecided, let them know you’ll call them back in a few days. It is important to call because a phone call has 10x the impact of an email.

3. Call Back – any NO or UNDECIDED – in 3-4 days. Ask if they’ve had a chance to review the legislation and what their opposition might be. Comment below or contact us at http://ask.tenthamendmentcenter.com with any information you get.

4. SHARE this information widely. By facebook, twitter, email, and more.

5. Write a letter to the editor. Look up your local newspaper and submit a letter to the editor voicing your support for HJR62. It is essential to keep the health freedom of MO citizens protected from federal overreach. Passing HJR62 will make that happen.
