SB60, a bill that would nullify certain FDA rules pertaining to experimental drugs for terminally ill patients, was introduced in Connecticut by State Sen. Kevin D. Witkos (R-8).

STATUS: SB60 was referred to the Joint Committee on Public Health pending further action. It must pass through this committee successfully before it can receive a full vote from the state house.

PLEASE TAKE THE FOLLOWING ACTIONS – It doesn’t matter where you live in the state, please follow all these steps to support this bill.

1. Call the Joint Committee on Public Health Co-Chairs, Terry Gerratana and Matthew Ritter. Strongly, but respectfully urge them to move SB60 forward to a vote in their committee. A phone call has 10x the impact of an email.
Gerratana: 860-240-0584
Ritter: 1-800-842-8267

2. Call the rest of the committee members. Again, be strong, but respectful. Urge each of them to take action to move the bill forward and vote YES on SB60.
