SB142, a bill that would nullify certain FDA rules pertaining to experimental drugs for terminally ill patients is up for consideration in Montana and needs your support

STATUS: SB142 was referred to the Senate Public Health, Welfare and Safety Committee pending further action. The bill must pass through committee successfully before it can receive a vote from the whole senate.

PLEASE TAKE THE FOLLOWING ACTIONS – It doesn’t matter where you live in the state, please follow all these steps to support SB142.

1. Call the Senate Public Health, Welfare and Safety Committee Chair, Fred Thomas. Strongly, but respectfully urge him to move this important bill forward to a vote in his committee. A phone call has 10x the impact of an email.

2. Call the rest of the committee members. Again, be strong, but respectful. Urge each of them to take action to move the bill forward and vote YES on SB142.
