Florida H571 would strictly limit the use of Automated License Plate Readers (ALPRs), which are generally operated by states and then used by the feds to track the location of millions of drivers. Passage will be a big first step towards ending this program. (learn more here) The bill must pass through the House Criminal Justice Subcommittee successfully before it can receive a full vote in the state house. Please take the following action steps to ensure the success of this important bill.

1. Call the House Criminal Justice Subcommittee Chair, Carlos Trujillo. Strongly, but respectfully urge her to move H571 forward to a vote in her committee. A phone call has 10x the impact of an email.
