New Hampshire HB685 was introduced to draw a line in the sand and block enforcement of almost any new federal gun control measures. (read about the bill here) It must pass through the Criminal Justice and Public Safety Committee before it can be voted upon by the whole house.

PLEASE TAKE THE FOLLOWING ACTIONS – It doesn’t matter where you live in the state, please follow all these steps to support HB685.

1. Call the Chair of the Criminal Justice and Public Safety Committee, John Tholl. Be strong, but respectful. Urge him to support HB685 and move the bill forward in his committee. If he won’t commit to a YES vote, ask him why.

2. Call all the other members of the Committee. Again, be strong but respectful. Ask them each for a YES vote on HB685. If they say they’re opposed, ask them why. If they’re undecided or will not commit to a YES vote, let them know you will be following up in a few days after they have a chance to consider it.

Again, make sure to contact them with a phone call rather than an email.
