Here at the TAC, we sell products and memberships for a reason – because we need to raise money to do the work we do. That is, our effort to eventually nullify every unconstitutional federal act. Some people are angry about that.

We’re taking on a 100+ year establishment, and we do this on just a few thousand $ per month.  It’s almost absurd to think of the monumental task we’ve taken on, but no matter the odds, I believe in doing what’s right.

Still, some people look at us like some kind of big-box chain discount store. They call to yell at us if they find a lower price on a book at another store. And – they’re very impatient when it comes to getting orders delivered. They’re used to Amazon and Walmart and think this little operation trying to nullify the feds is going to have 24 hour customer service, a call center staffed with customer service reps or a huge shipping center ready to handle their orders.

Like Sheldon from Tennessee today. He called about the status of his order, which he obviously expected to be delivered already. I told him there was a glitch in the processing system and paypal never notified our shopping cart that he completed his order. I also mentioned that I’d be happy to ship the order right away, or cancel and give him a full refund.

He called and emailed – very angry and agitated – telling us to refund, to never contact him again, and that he’d never buy anything from us again.  Because he could buy the same book used on Amazon for $3 instead of the $18 new book on our site.

This mentality is unreasonable, unsupportive and couldn’t be more unkind. But, thankfully, it isn’t common outside a small percentage of very angry people who claim to be our supporters.  I do believe this represents a portion of society that obviously cannot see the big picture in what needs to be done. I don’t believe they help the cause of liberty.
