This is today’s Tenther newsletter, which everyone in the nullification movement gets daily or weekly. Be one of them.

In response to Monday’s email, I was told that it doesn’t matter if the 4th Amendment doesn’t allow warrantless spying on everyone. And here’s why (supposedly):

“They can do whatever is necessary, including all the spying, to protect our welfare under the general welfare clause.”

Even though I realize that decades of unconstitutional federal control over education has destroyed education for much of the general public, it never ceases to amaze me how far people go to twist the original meaning of the Constitution to fit their own goals.

Article I, Section 8, Clause 1 of the Constitution – that’s the so-called “general Welfare clause.” It had a very specific meaning to the Founders. It’s one that government-run schools haven’t been teaching us – or our children, unfortunately.

Why? Because the current system would be flipped upside down, and most federal programs today would be UNCONSTITUTIONAL.

James Madison had a lot to say about this clause – Mike Maharrey summed up some of the most important points.  Share this article and help some other people “unlearn the propaganda” they’ve been fed for generations:

Thanksgiving is tomorrow. Although I wasn’t able to afford to travel and visit my closest family members as I would have liked to do, I’m still very grateful for many things in my life.  I’m thankful for my family and my friends. I’m thankful for a roof over my head and healthy food to eat.

I’m also thankful for something I’ve only recently started to see as a great gift in my life. That is, running the Tenth Amendment Center because of the support of so many good people from all walks of life. Being able to make a stand of the Constitution and liberty at their moment of greatest danger is not just a great obligation, but a privilege.

Please help me continue this important work – TAC memberships start at just 2 bucks a month.

Whatever amount you choose, it all helps us get the job done. For us, that’s the Constitution: Every issue, every time. No exceptions, no excuses.

Wishing you a Happy Thanksgiving!
