In Colorado we can ammend our state constitution through referendum and I hope to challenge the Sixteenth Amendment by limiting what the feds can tax Colorado citizens and corporations to a maximun of 18%.

I agree we need millions of supporters but we also can't wait much longer. Our federal reps are arguing over the degree of taxation for healthcare, cap and trade, etc… when they should be talking the constitutional authority to do so. So many programs have been allowed to move forward with little challenge because our federal reps and governors have been ignoring the law of the land. And we as Americans have been ignoring our responsibility to hold government accountable.

I hope you will spread the word and help make the governors race in Colorado a national referendum on the constitutional authority of the fed versus the state and individual.

There first has to be an undeniable force of we the people behind this before our state governments are going to make the stand that is needed.

I was reading the information on this "Constitutional Congress 2009" (http://www.cc2009.us) and was interested to see one of the group's strategies is to get millions of people behind the plan to stop paying federal taxes. Now THAT is where it's at! But we are a long, long way from millions of people….
