None of us, I hope, wish to do battle to put down this insurrection, but slavery is not in my future.
A few things may have changed since the Civil War that may work to freedoms advantage. First, now the federal military is not set up as local regiments from the same regions as they were in those days. Secondly, your congressman may not understand their oath to defend the constitution, but you can bet our soldiers do. It’s amazing how clear it becomes when you are being shot at. Three, the lefts lack of support for the military is commonly known. It will be difficult for those on the left to convince our military to fire on the citizenry. Plus the heavy use of National Guard and Reservist that actually owe their allegiance to the states. And lastly, the used to be military far out number the active military by what? 8 fold?
