No Need to Abandon Ship

Now that the Senate has voted to pass National Health Care legislation and we’re one step closer to a DC mandate, many Americans are experiencing an even greater sense of frustration and despair. “All is lost…” has been tweeted more than a few times, but I am happy to write these lines:

Nothing is lost. Do not fear! The next stop is NOT mandated health care, the next stop is NULLIFICATION.

Here at the Center, activity has exploded as reaction to the senate health care bill washes over the republic. This is a very encouraging sign. What we needed as a people was to be shaken from our slumber and awakened to the truth about our Federal government. Unprecedented numbers of Americans are waking from a long and blissful sleep, due to the unconstitutional lengths that congress, urged on by the president, are going to.

Now that nullification is on the lips of patriots across the 50 states, the next and most critical point has got to be spread like wildfire: If your state does not currently support nullification efforts, do not give up and move to a state that does, but rather see to it that your home state follows suit.

The historical trends of blue and red do not give much insight as to a state’s potential for nullification. The battle for a constitutional government and state sovereignty is an issue that transcends left vs right, it’s a mainstream issue that is more about ‘the people’ vs tyranny than it is about political parties.

This key departure from traditional political rhetoric is the greatest challenge that the sovereignty movement currently faces, for if we can all leave behind lib vs con thinking and rally around the ideas of the constitution and liberty, the Feds don’t stand a chance.

The Peoples Law Officer, the Sheriff.

It appears to me, that the power of the Sheriff is derived from the Structure of the Constitution and operates under the 10th Amendment.
He is the only law enforcement officer in America elected by the people and answerable only to the people.

I have a question. Let's say 20-25 states pass constitutional amendments nullifying national healthcare dictates within their borders. Let's say there are no legal challenges to the laws, though I believe there will be and continue to believe the Supreme Court is a serious wild card in all this. What is to stop the federal government from saying, "We are still going to tax your business', people, tanning salons, etc etc etc and if you don't participate you will lose all of that tax money"? How long till all the governors and state legislators cave?

O/T: I don't know if there are any constitutional scholars here but, if so, would one or two do an article on the leanings of SCOTUS justices in regard to 10th amendment concerns, the Commerce Clause, the Supremacy Clause, the Santa Clause and everything else having to do with state sovereignty.

Merry Christmas…You are all doing a great job.

Well what I will do is this…. My second batch of 4-10 pledges should arrive in mailboxes today. I have sent pledges to every state rep. Included was the sherrif first model legislation. Next the constitutional tender act with a another round of pledges. Indiana is setting on Constitutional tender act. I always include a letter. Every two weeks or so they will get a another of pledges and legislation that is included from this website. Also if you are willing to build a database of newspapers in your state send out letters in the opionion page or letters to the editor. Not that they are going to all get printed but if some do they will open eyes. Coordinate pledges to legislators, and letters to editors but they should be about the same topic that may make a person call the state reps.
