I kind of resent republican trying to take over the tea party because I attended one right after Obama was elected and I saw a bunch of republicans telling us to vote 'conservative'. It made me kind of upset because we did that and got shit for it. It also makes me angry that they assume that those who attended the tea parties are just suppose to vote for them as if we exist for them. They exist for us and the tea party should run out all republican and replace them with tea party people.

It's a little sad that our elected officials and political leaders are so poorly educated about the Constitution and the founding of our country. It's also sad that they (and the media, INCLUDING supposed conservative talk show types) belittle anyone that sees merit in the decisions made by states to protect their sovereignty in the 1860s. A lot of those same questions are the ones being asked today.
