Sometimes republicans are the worse people to claim to be on the side of freedom. Ron Paul is awesome but the blonde...LOL...

I have similar conversations with other 'conservatives' and it seems like they really believe that it is OK for government to do this shit as long as a democrat didn't think of it. I have republicans in my family and they would all go for a national ID as long as democrats didn't impose it. They all went for Romneycare simply because Obama didn't propose it. They look at Tea party people as semi-wacko just like democrats do. I often wonder if these are the same parties.
