New Mexico Law and Local Sheriff Trump the Feds

New Mexico just proved that State law trumps unconstitutional federal regulations and that the power of the sheriff is superior over federal agencies. This is the power of the Tenth Amendment!

Ten years ago, when Libertarian presidential candidate Gary Johnson was Governor of New Mexico, he signed into law a bill authorizing New Mexico to cut trees and thin overgrown forests that can prevent uncontrollable wildfires. This law applies to federal lands when federal agencies neglect or mismanage forests and put lives at risk.

The US Forest Service, under the USDA, allowed the Lincoln National Forest in Otero County to become dense and overgrown and it was a life-threatening hazard. The agency refused to remediate the problem.

Federal agencies are party to a sinister plot for total control and depopulation through the United Nations, called Agenda 21 Sustainable Development. Many federal employees who enforce bad environmental policies may not realize they are really enforcing UN Agenda 21. Part of this plot is the Wildlands Project designed to remove humans from rural lands and allowing forests to grow out of control, even when forest fires threaten human life.

Another example of the expansion of the Wildlands Project is road closures on federal land in order to declare the area a wilderness area and off-limits to humans. According to the 1964 Wilderness Act (PL88-577), no land can be designated a Wilderness area unless it is “roadless.”

Otero County decided to put the State law to thin out the forests to the test and notified the feds. The US Forest Service threatened to ARREST Congressman Steve Pearce and Otero County Commissioners! Otero County Sheriff Benny House reportedly advised the feds that if they made any arrests, he would then arrest the feds on kidnapping charges.

On September 17th, keeping his Oath of Office to the Constitution and the People, Sheriff Benny House and his SWAT Team protected the tree cutters. The feds backed down! The feds were absent from the Tree Party Rebellion. This is because within the county, the sheriff is the highest law enforcement authority in the land.

Cheers, New Mexico!! The model that New Mexico and Sheriff House established can be replicated in other states when the feds overreach their authority.

This "law" was not "established" by New Mexico and Sheriff House. Maybe modled by...but not established. This law was "established by our Founding Fathers...and has become ignored for so long now that we have to correct those who still dont seem to understand...even the writers here...that this law is a Constitutional Law estabished in the beginning and founding of our Nation.

Sehrriff House will probably tell you exaclty this...that he is simply following Constitutional Law as it has existed since it was written.

The 10th Amemdment ensures this...get this right OK ?

Allow me to point out a few things. First, if we eliminate or even curb the power of the Federal "tyrants", we will still have to deal with the state and local governments who are far more effective at usurping property rights, simply because they are closer to their victims. An individual stands a far greater chance of running afoul of state and local laws than he ever will of federal ones. The solution is not to replace the federal government with state and local ones. Nor is it to empower the states over a weakened, more Constitutional federal government. Rather, it is to recognize the ineffectiveness of government and laws, and the intrinsic injustice of all man made laws and to work, therefore, for the abolition of violence based government at all levels. Really, it does no good for the State of New Mexico to stand up for itself, and demand that the United States Government has no right or ability to stop them from thinning a forest, but assert its own perrogative in telling individual New Mexicans what they can and cannot do on their own land.

The worst thing I feel for humans are the advancements made in the last one hundred years. Prior to WWI the Jews could not get us to kill more than 600,000. With The Civil War being an example. WIth the advent of airplanes and tanks they were able to kill 10 million and then by WWII they could kill hundreds of millions. If they destroy the oceans with nuclear waste and they turn black, then we are finished. I can't say that these advancements are good for anyone, except the Jews and corporations. The advancements in medicine, but the planes they have used to kill hundreds of millions and now with the nuclear weapons if you have them and your enemy doesn't they are screwed. The bullies have thousands of nukes like a few hundred isn't enough.

They are pissed, because we have learned about how they have poisoned us and they have been taking them out slowly. Even though fluoride and other stuff they are still feeding us. They think people can live for 200 years if you eat right and take the right stuff. Can you imagine people living thhis long? They would have you working till 140. The system won't work if we live too long. They want us sick at 65 and dead by 80. So, which one am I supposed to cheer for; the repressive FEDERAL government or the repressive STATE government? And can someone please explain to me why I should support one band of tyrants over the other one? Frankly, what would be great is if the two governments destroyed each other.

If the people really controlled their country do you think we would tax the crap out of our own citizens? Do you think we would have wars? You think we would allow them to put fluoride into our drinking water? Do you think we would allow them to put mercury in the vaccines and give our kids Autism? Do you think we would care that a food company wants it's product to be able to sit on the shelf for six months for their profits? This is something I'm hearing more an more about and may be our saving grace regarding the agenda of the elites. I only wish that the video had called the "environmentalists" by their real names: globalist elites. I consider myself someone who does care about our environment, but am quite awake to this UN agenda and how they are hiding it behind environmental groups. No honest human wants to destroy our planet, but the sinister plans that are being implemented behind closed doors need to be brought to the lite....just wish the name calling could be eliminated: it scares off others that might listen, if the don't become offended themselves.

Hurray for Sheriff Benny House and the Otero County Commissioners! I am encouraged to see such bold action in my Democrat infested state. We must stand up to the communist federal tyranny, including Agenda 21, which is fully intended to remove people from the land and separate us from the resources sustaining us. Endangerment, impoverishment, hunger, ignorance, enslavement, and huge poplulation reductions (genocide) are the intentions of Agenda 21 and the International Socialists in the District of Criminals. More county sheriffs should learn from this example and not be cowed by the federal gangsters robbing us!

The Sheriff's power arose in England out of the legal concept that "A man's home is his castle." The local sheriff could, after the Magna Carta was signed, challenge all the king's horses and all the king's men. He bore the full weight of protecting the people from a tyrannical king just as the modern sheriff in America can keep the feds off the people's backs.

You may have noticed the legal concept that a man's "Home Is His Castle." This was a very important law. If a man broke the law and if he made it back to his property before being arrested the sheriff could not arrest him while the accused was on his own property! This allowed time to pass and the heat of the alleged crime cool down. Eventually, after the facts were sorted out, Joe Smoh would or may turn himself over to the "Local Sheriff" after a number of over the fence chats.

By the way, Not So Great Britain doesn't own squat. The Queen of England is the number one Drug Dealer in the world. Unfortunately, my country is the number one consumer of drugs...ugh! In addition, the Queen is the ring leader of prostitution worldwide. Have you ever heard of "Punterlink?" How do you think a nation that imports nothing, produces little and taxes it's subjects to poverty stays afloat? D & P!!!!

@Michael Boldin Unfortunately, Michael, they'd have to care about the rule of real law and not their own perceived power. There just doesn't seem to be much chance of that. I hope I am dead wrong though.

If you could silence dissent and nobody could do anything you would not allow something to snowball you would nip it in the bud. The only hope is nobody turns their guns in, because this is what the Russians did and we know what happened to them.

I don't think we'll be reading anytime soon that the sheriffs brought down the president and exposed the fraud he was and he had to be removed from office by the US. Marhsals, because politicians know that would just make chaos and they don't need that. The ball is always in their court. if the sheriffs causee to much of a mess. Obama who is a fraud will need a smokescreen. The Mossad will apraoch him and say they will blow up a nuke plant and when they do he declares martial law. So with the 9/11 we got the Patriot Act. Next attack there will be martial law. So you're really screwed no matter, because they have the money, power and the Mossad works with our government they will not approach the sheriffs. So if they apply heat look for something big soon. If it was this easy they could have removed Clinton from office years ago. This is why you can't hire someone who is a criminal or has things to hide, because they cut nefarious deals with the Mossad.
