Milestones in TAC history: first live event

The Tenth Amendment Center doesn’t just exist as some virtual entity floating out in cyberspace. The TAC has taken its message to the streets, sponsoring numerous live events from coast to coast.

Since September 2010, thousands have attended Nullify Now! events in cities across the fruited plain, including Philly, Phoenix, Austin, Orlando, Cincinnati and LA. Participants were treated to nationally known speakers such as Tom Woods, Kevin Gutzman, Sheriff Mack and Jack Hunter, all making the historical, philosophical and moral case for state nullification of unconstitutional acts.

Last spring, the TAC hosted a special event in its home town of Los Angles, focusing exclusively on nullification of the detention provisions in the NDAA. And representatives from the Tenth Amendment Center had the opportunity premier the Nullification Movie produced by Jason Rink and conduct a pair of breakout sessions at CPAC 2012 in Washington D.C.

So when was the first ever TAC sponsored live event?

It was the Tenth Amendment Summit held in Atlanta, Ga., Feb. 25-26, 2010. That summit produced a pretty cool resolution.  You can read it HERE.
