To the Governor: New Hampshire Passes Bill Allowing Local Common Core Opt Out

CONCORD, N.H. (June 16, 2017) –Today, the New Hampshire House and Senate gave final approval to a bill that would prohibit the state department of education and the state board of education from requiring any school or school district to implement Common Core standards. Adoption of the legislation would represent an opportunity for local communities to nullify Common Core in the state.
