For this interview, I joined host Kyle Anzalone and journalist Will Porter to talk more in depth about how the U.S. uses its position as the world’s dominant economic power and the dollar’s status as the world reserve currency to further its foreign policy aims. This kind of economic warfare generally goes unnoticed, but it is often a precursor to shooting wars. We talked about America’s influence over SWIFT (the dominant global payment system) and its use as a foreign policy tool, how the Federal Reserve facilitates American interventionism and the possible impacts on the U.S. economy.
