We’re beginning to see nullification efforts expand in an effort to free “magic mushrooms.”
Psilocybin is a hallucinogenic compound found in certain mushrooms. A number of studies have shown it to be effective in the treatment of a number of conditions, including depression, PTSD, chronic pain and addiction.
Despite the promising health benefits, the federal government maintains complete prohibition on psilocybin. But we are starting to see the same strategy used to effectively nullify unconstitutional marijuana prohibition used to free magic mushrooms.
