We didn’t get from one violation of the Constitution to the largest government in history in a day.
It didn’t happen because of a single administration or one party. It took decades, with one constitutional violation piling on top of another day after day, month after month, year after year.
Every single one – no matter how small – set a precedent.
As time went on, each precedent set the stage for another to, as St. George Tucker put it, “justify other unwarranted usurpations.”
And then another.
And another.
They pile up fast.
John Adams compared this relentless encroachment on the Constitution to “a cancer” that “eats faster and faster every hour.”
And what happens if you let cancer go untreated?
It kills you.
There is only one way to treat cancer.
Cut it out.
In other words, we have to take action to limit the power to what’s authorized by the Constitution.
And eliminate everything else.
This is the reason the TAC exists. We administer the cure to this cancer – state, local, and individual action to stop unconstitutional acts. We follow the wisdom of the founders and, as John Dickinson urged, “oppose a disease at its beginning.”
But we can’t do it without your help! Treating this kind of cancer isn’t covered by health insurance – especially the government-run kind. That means we need your support.

Unfortunately, a lot of people seem to think we can vote the problem away. They imagine getting the right people in office will solve things. But they don’t seem to understand the nature of power.
Abigail Adams did.
She observed that “power whether vested in many or a few is ever grasping, and like the grave cries give, give.”
Even the people who claim to side with liberty turn into trash when they get ahold of a little power.
Adams saw it in her own time.
“The great fish swallow up the small, and he who is most strenuous for the Rights of the people, when vested with power, is as eager after the perogatives of Goverment.”
We can’t take apart the biggest government in the history of the world by changing out a few people. We have to limit their access to power before they even get there.
And no matter how difficult the odds, that’s what we’re doing with your help.
Duty is ours…
