Healthcare is “The Crown Jewel of Socialism”. Learn more about Communist Obamacare here: http://www.commieblaster.com/healthcare/index.htm...
They are to me, given that they both share the same definition to me for me, but then again I'm a simple man.
If you don't know the difference between Communism and socialism, how do you know that the healthcare plan is either socialist or communist. What if it is neither? How do you know that the people who are making the claims aren't lying to you in order to protect their personal wealth?
There is a major major flaw in your argument, and it starts with "you're completely clueless." If you get sick, say something like Leukemia or lymphoma, you need care and insurance right away. You can get taken care of in the emergency room, but you will get discharged within 20-30 days. The first day home you will definitely need medication to keep yourself alive or prevent infection. Without insurance, the average person can not afford this medication.
Your main argument is that you get insurance when you get sick. How long does it take to get this insurance? My experience with government healthcare is that it takes time to get approved. Don't say that this a failure of government because it took 3 months before my private insurance kicked in my last job. So my question is, when they kick you out of the hospital, how do you fill your prescriptions if you waited to the last minute to get health insurance? People in this country die because they can't get their prescriptions filled. With a disease like cancer, most treatment is done outpatient. Sometimes to get approval for medicaid it can take 7-14 days, other times it takes 3-6 months. Pharmacies don't give out medicine without insurance or cash.
You never considered this approval window Mr. Schiff, which tells me you know just as little as the people you condemn.
'Basic Economics' do not apply to health care. We, as patients, do not make rational decisions about care, as consumers we lack information on price, quality, and the technical expertise needed for a free exchange.
On a side note, Peter Schiff is an idiot.
You might ask yourself WHY you lack such information and IF that is a good thing. What is better? To be ignorant and have somebody else make your decisions, or to have understanding and make your own?
Those "smart" people in Washington are telling you what kind of car they prefer you to drive; when you should buy a new home; what your energy consumption choices should be; what your children should be taught; when, where and if you should use certain drugs and alcohol; when, where and if you can exhibit any display of your religious preference (to the extent you have one); under what restrictions you should be able to hunt on your own property; what rights you have in regard to the decision to maintain or terminate pregnancy; what you are better-off investing in; and on and on....
I sure am glad I am particularly stupid, because that gives my fine dictators a legitimate purpose. For a second there, I had almost believed that I could handle such decisions responsibly and morally on my own.
