I would prefer a bunch of "corrupt legislators" that are at least accountable to the people and limited in their domain of power(only over the state) then a signal corrupt unelected 9 man panel of dictators.
Dictators with the arbitrary power to rewrite OUR Constitution to such an extruder extent as to force upon all the people the value of the "right to abortion" above the "right to life".
This is not republicanism, this is not constitutional law, this is not government by the consent of the governed! This is an judicial oligarchy, this is tyranny, and 40+ million of our countrymen have perhaps lost their lives because of it.

Maybe it's just the way I was raised to value the natural rights of men above the blind unchecked power of centralized government monopolies. But it seems were better off when we can vote with out feet as well as our stronger ballots then we cannot vote at all, such as for the dictates of the U.S. Supreme court.
