Website Design Update

Here’s (hopefully) the last update on website issues for a little while. In light of our recent downtime, we spent some time analyzing our site code and design and decided it was best to finally do an update. We’ve had some changes in mind for quite some time, but this turned out to be perfect timing. The new site design is up on the main website, and we’ll be rolling it out to all subdomains in the next few weeks.

FYI: the new design and coding has reduced our load time by over 50% – even after the hardware upgrade from yesterday.

Also: We’re considering an open invitation for logo designs. While we consider what’s there to be good – we realize that there’s likely many good designers who support the site and would be willing to help.

Site now looks great! The first version, just after the crash, was busy and the enlarged pictures pixelated. Nice job fine tuning!
