Great job but the judge used an incorrect phrase in his presentation that distorts the system of government established by the Constitution..."gave away." The States did not "give away " any of their powers. The States delegated some of their powers to the federal government. These powers were not surrendered...they are on loan.

great point, Bob. Essential, actually. The power, as noted in the 10th amendment, is never surrendered, just delegated and can be recalled at any time.
