New Hampshire House Passes Bill Allowing Local Common Core Opt Out

CONCORD, N.H. (June 1, 2017) –Today, the New Hampshire House passed a bill that would prohibit the state department of education and the state board of education from requiring any school or school district to implement Common Core standards. Adoption of the legislation would represent an opportunity for local communities to nullify Common Core in the state.
