Minnesota SF27 would require the state to deny enforcement assistance and material support for the indefinite detention provisions of the 2012 NDAA, still applicable today.

STATUS: SF27 was referred to the Senate Judiciary Committee, where it needs to pass by a majority vote before the full senate can consider it.

PLEASE TAKE THE FOLLOWING ACTIONS – It doesn’t matter where you live in the state, please follow all these steps to support SF27.

1. Call the Senate Judiciary Committee Chair, Ron Latz. Strongly, but respectfully urge him to move this important bill forward to a vote in his committee. A phone call has 10x the impact of an email.
