Vermont H.204 would deny “material support or resources” to the NSA and all federal illegal spying operations. It must pass successfully through the House Committee on Judiciary before it can receive a full vote in the state senate.

PLEASE TAKE THE FOLLOWING ACTIONS – It doesn’t matter where you live in the state, please follow all these steps to support H.204.

1. Call the Chair of the House Committee on Judiciary, Maxine Jo Grad. Be strong, but respectful. Urge her to support H.204 and move the bill forward in her committee. If she does not commit to a YES vote, ask why.

2. Call the rest of the committee members. Again, be strong, but respectful. Urge each of them to take action to move the bill forward and vote YES on H.204. Again, make sure to contact them with a phone call rather than an email.

4. Spread the Word. Share this information widely by facebook, twitter, email and other social networks.
