After election day, I appeared on the Gold Standard with Alan Mosley to talk about the real winner in the latest incarnation of “the most important election of our lifetime” – nullification.

After bemoaning some of the failures of Libertarian Party candidates in the election, I pivoted to talk about one place that liberty lovers could celebrate – the success of ballot initiatives that pushed back against federal power. I discussed several big wins with marijuana legalization in Michigan, Utah and Missouri, New Hampshire expanding privacy protections, and Oregonians even refusing to allow the feds to commandeer their resources to enforce immigration laws. This also demonstrates the power of issue-based activism as opposed to trying to get certain candidates elected.
