I recently appeared on Lion’s of Liberty Felony Friday to discuss the legal status of hemp and CBD after the enactment of the 2018 federal farm bill.
LISTEN
There is a lot of confusion about what the federal farm bill actually did, especially when it comes to CBD. While it is now legal to produce industrial hemp for commercial purposes under federal law, that doesn’t necessarily mean the end of all federal regulation of certain hemp products, including CBD.
In this Felony Friday interview, I cut through the confusion and explain exactly what the federal farm bill did and didn’t do. I also share a little bit about my own personal experience using CBD and tell you exactly how state action led to passage of the farm bill.
