Facial recognition surveillance is expanding every day all across the U.S. Not only are government agencies running their own facial recognition programs; private companies are jumping in to offer facial recognition services to state and local police.
But there is pushback at the state and local levels.
In this interview, I talk about the dangers of unchecked facial recognition and outline some of the efforts to rein it in.
