This article by Jeff Taylor, which recently appeared in The American Conservative, is one of the most well written articles on the subject of nullification I have come across in a while. Although I was a little disappointed that he failed to use Arizona’s Health Care Freedom Amendment, (which will be voted on by the people of Arizona in referendum this November), as an example of popular support for state level resistance to Obamacare, his article is still a wonderful, comprehensive overview of nullification.
”Nullification makes a comeback—and not just on the Right”, is perfect for sharing with people of every background who may be unfamiliar with, or even confused about nullification and the Principles of ‘98. It’s also informative and enjoyable reading for others who already know a great deal about the history of nullification and it’s more recent application in 21st century America.
