S0839, a bill that would legalize industrial hemp for production within the state, was introduced on Jan. 14 by Senators Lee Bright (R-12) and Kevin Bryant (R-3). It was referred to the Committee on Agriculture and Natural Resources shortly afterward.
STATUS: S0839 has PASSED unanimously through the Committee on Agriculture and Natural Resources and will now go to the full Senate for a vote!
