Yesterday, I celebrated my 11 year anniversary with the amazing Sarah Beth Rosa.

I could never have built the TAC without her. Taking a stand against the most powerful government in the history of the world takes an incredible amount of love and support to keep me pushing on.

Sarah has been supportive when I couldn’t afford to travel and visit family on holidays, when I had to be out of town, and when I have had to work 12-14 hours days for weeks on end. She has supported me when I didn’t get any weekends off, helped with graphic design, and helped me stuff and seal thousands and thousands of envelopes.

She has talked to me about strategy, given me feedback (both positive and negative) on things I’ve tried, traveled with me to events, and she even rode cross-country on AmTrak to be with me.

I cannot stress this enough – this kind of work is hard, extremely hard to do. There are so many times that I’ve looked at an empty bank account, been absolutely exhausted, and felt overwhelmed in the face of what we’re trying to do – and she’s been the one who somehow supports me and helps me go on no matter what the odds.

While Sarah doesn’t personally get involved in politics – and seems to try to avoid it in many situations, she believes in me and what I do. I cannot properly express the gratitude I have for this support.

I urge each and every one of you to show your appreciation to those close to you, those who stand with you – be they a husband, a wife, a neighbor, a relative or a friend.

Samuel Adams had Elizabeth. Mercy Otis Warren had James. Every one of us today has someone in our life who supports us – quietly or loudly.

Thank them. We can’t do this without them.
